Kyoto Beer was born in 1995 as the first craft beer in Kyoto.
It is brewed by a sake maker, using their sake-brewing techniques.
One of the beers, Gold Ale, is made with Fushimizu, the famous water also used for sake, and brewed with sake yeast to give a gentle ginjo aroma.
It has a smooth taste and a beautiful golden color.
