Kyoto Beer was born in 1995 as the first craft beer in Kyoto.
It is brewed by a sake maker, using their sake-brewing techniques.
One of the beers, Brown Ale, is made with Fushimizu, the famous water also used for sake.
It has a deep reddish-brown color, with a rich roasted malt aroma and a well-balanced hop bitterness.
