A sukiyaki sauce made from (honjozo) soy sauce and bonito, giving the sauce rich umami flavours.
How to use:
• Heat a large pot, melting lard or use oil. Cook 500g sliced beef lightly along with leeks/spring onions. Then add 300ml sukiyaki sauce and add the rest of your ingredients. For example, block of tofu, variety of mushrooms (shitake, shimeji, enoki), and shirataki noodles. Simmer until cooked, then serve hot.
